Mann Deshi: Rural Micro-Enterprise

A grant was made to the Nepal Trust to help establish a permanent medical team in Simikot, Humla, Western Nepal. This will ensure a health service is provided in one of the poorest areas of the World.

A significant donation was made by the Bonita Trust to Rotaplast to provide free reconstructive surgery and treatment to underprivileged children in India, and to provide education and advance research into the prevention of cleft lip and palate.

The VISHWAS School in Gurgaon integrates education of disabled children within the public school framework; provides better quality education and engenders respect for all.

The Project 511 was born out of an instinctive need to make a difference in the way children study in India. Schools without classrooms, and classrooms without electricity, water or roofs are a common sight there. Public school funding was the need of the hour! Project 511 was initiated for public school funding, committed to fund the maintenance of Government schools .
