The Bonita Trust is an independent philanthropic trust,
founded in 2004. Bonita’s endowment programs results from a personal commitment by its principals to help communities address some of
the important health and education challenges facing them, leveraging new technologies and Internet-based solutions.
In 2006 The Bonita Trust settled the Bonita Charitable Trust which is a registered charity in Gibraltar.
Ruth Parasol, the principal benefactor and founding member of Bonita Trust's International Advisory Board who graduated from Marin Academy, CA says:
“We are inspired to provide education to the underprivileged and believe that it plays a vital part in the improvement and prosperity of the communities. By helping out one person to become financially self sustained, we are helping out the entire family and creating better future for the next generation. Good education combined with financial independence and stability adds to the economy and advancement of the communities.”
Bonita trust has funded a dedicated Education Officer and Research Associate to help answer the questions pertaining to women and science at Cambridge University.
