NSPCC - National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children

Bonita has donated funds to purchase new IT equipment for the 16 ChildLine bases around the UK enabling the NSPCC to link the bases together online and expand services offered to the community.

The new equipment will allow NSPCC to centralise calls to the helpline and expand their services, enabling children to contact ChildLine through SMS and over the Internet.

The NSPCC operates 177 community-based projects in the UK which are directly helping to protect children.ChildLine is the UK's free, 24-hour helpline service for children in danger or distress. Trained volunteer counsellors comfort, advise and protect children who may feel they have nowhere else to turn. ChildLine currently receives over 600,000 calls each year and has over 1,000 active volunteers working across the UK.
