Grants: Criteria / Requirements
The Bonita Trust awards the majority of its grants to well established non-profit organizations identified by the Bonita Trust Trustees and their advisors, according to its Mission Statement.
We favour preventive approaches and collaborative endeavours with both private and public sector organisations and not-for-profit partners.
Please note we do not normally award grants to individuals, nor to projects that serve a religious or political purpose. We do not generally support smaller community projects which are deemed to be capable of being supported by the wider community.
TECHNOLOGY UMBRELLA FUND
The Bonita Trust has set up a Technology Fund to enable small charities to develop an online presence to raise their profile and facilitate fund-raising. Our donation will normally be in the form of matching funds and guidance on online marketing and search-engine maximisation.
Grants: Review Process
To submit a request for a grant, please download and complete our Initial Questionnaire Form and send it to us with a short cover letter to info@bonitatrust.org or to fax number +350 200 50770.
The Initial Questionnaire Form will be reviewed by the Bonita Trust Project Management team. If your project meets our grant criteria, you will be invited to fill in our Application Form.
The Application Form requires detailed information about your organisation, current financial status and the project for which you are seeking funding.
The Project Manager will review your Application and may call on the International Advisory Board for their advice and expertise when assessing the application.
A successful application will then be presented to the Trustees for their consideration and approval at the monthly Trustee meeting.
